What is PAT Crews?

PAT Crews is a database of film crews in New York City area (and some from outside of the city). Generally, the database is invite only based on the crews who have rented from PAT Rentals (or were involved with productions that utilize their gear). The purpose is to create a network of great crews who can lend their support for film productions.

Peer recommendations are one of the best ways to fulfil a particular project’s crew needs. Instead of a huge database, we opt to create an intimate list.

What made you start PAT Crews?

PAT Crew is an offshoot of PAT Rentals. At PAT Rentals we do hundreds of rentals a year and naturally get asked for crew recommendations. We work with so many great people that we decided to offer this pool of talent to other filmmakers in need of production support.

How do I use the website?

It’s easy. Just register to join the pool of talent. And if you have a project that needs support, just browse who’s available to join your team.

Do you vouch for every crew member?

Film productions are a particular field of creative endeavors attracting all sort of individuals. People change over time, a great crew at some point might become indifferent at another. An inattentive crew member can become a great one as he/she learns the ropes. As such it’s impossible for us to vouch for everyone you find on this site.
